Culture is not just museum murals or heritage in textbooks – it is our everyday life, our creativity, and our future. Today, the growing voice of the cultural community reminds us that culture is only alive when we all participate in it. Today, we have decided not to remain on the sidelines and to speak out clearly – culture must be protected and strengthened, not belittled or turned into a tool for political games.

We see culture as a space where ideas, community, and belief in the future are born. It inspires creativity, connects different generations, and makes us feel part of a community. That is why we invite you to read our position statement—it is not just a document, but also our desire to preserve what is most precious and to pass on a strong, creative Lithuania to future generations.
