We encourage students to apply for the positions of KTU Student Senator or member of the KTU SA Control Committee

On April 6th, the KTU SA reporting-election conference will elect individuals who will lead the organization in the coming year. Besides this, the conference will also include elections for student representatives to the KTU Senate and members of the KTU SA Control Committee. We invite you to familiarize yourself with these positions and the necessary documents for submitting a candidacy.

Senator

To become a student representative in the KTU Senate, you need to:

  1. Be a student of Kaunas University of Technology or a joint study program.
  2. Apply to become a member of the KTU Senate to KTU SA President Danas Černeckas by 9:00 AM on March 23rd.
  3. Submit a motivation letter addressed to the KTU SA conference by 9:00 AM on March 23rd.
  4. Be accredited*.

KTU SA Control Committee

To become a member of the KTU SA Control Committee, you need to:

  1. Submit an application to run for the Control Committee and a motivation letter to KTU SA President Danas Černeckas by 9:00 AM on March 30th.
  2. Be a KTU SA member or alumnus with at least 12 months of activity in the organization.

IMPORTANT! Applications and motivation letters must be submitted to KTU SA President Danas Černeckas both in physical and electronic form by the specified dates. Send forms via email to prezidentas@ktusa.lt, with the Control Committee (kontrole@ktusa.lt) in CC. Physical forms can be delivered to the central office of the KTU Student Union at K. Donelaičio g. 73, Kaunas.

*Accreditation involves a test of knowledge about the University, its structure, and essential representation issues, valid for one year from the date of passing. For test scheduling and preparation materials, contact KTU SA Accreditation Committee Chairperson Irma Zapalskytė.
